• ALABASTER CENTER FOR WOMEN'S WELLNESS

More pathways to her wellness. – Use a distinct, eye-catching font

Every woman deserves support that respects her experiences, understands her circumstances, and makes room for her whole life.

Alabaster Center for Women’s Wellness (ACWW) is a Virginia nonprofit focused on women’s mental, emotional, and relational well-being. Its purpose is to expand access to compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed support, especially in communities where care and resources are hard to reach.

Through education, community connection, access to care, and professional development, ACWW helps more women find meaningful support.

    WHO WE ARE

A shared commitment. A distinct purpose.

ACWW is an independent nonprofit corporation in Virginia. It was founded by LaTasha M. Anderson, LPC, who serves as Executive Director, and is governed by its own volunteer board of directors.

LaTasha also founded Alabaster Counseling, a women’s mental health practice in Portsmouth. The two organizations share a founder and a commitment to women’s well-being, but they are separate organizations with separate leadership, finances, and purposes. ACWW was created to reach women and communities in ways a private practice alone cannot.

ACWW seeks to serve women facing barriers to support while helping strengthen the community resources and professional capacity that make care possible.
