Responsibilities:
- Provide in office and remote clinical counseling services to Alabaster Counseling clients
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with practice policies and ethical standards
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and case consultations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to ensure holistic client care
- Stay current with developments in the field of mental health through continuing education and professional development
The right fit:
- Aligns with Alabaster Counseling’s mission, vision, and values
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling
- Active, unrestricted license (LMFT or LPC) in Virginia OR Virginia Resident in Counseling
- Available to hold 25 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Alabaster Counseling
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective therapeutic relationships.
- Experience in counseling, particularly with a focus on girls and women
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to cultural competency and inclusive practices.
